Driving Innovation in Digital Transformation
Our digital transformation project was with a well known university. The university, home to over 18,000 students from 100+ countries, relied on high-speed connectivity to keep its community connected. However, recurring dissatisfaction with its WiFi highlighted an urgent need for modernisation.
We partnered with the university on the ambitious Network Replacement Programme (NRP), delivering a modern, high-speed wired and wireless network that is the largest project of its kind for the University in over two decades.
The NRP addressed technical, operational, and strategic challenges through:
- 300km of new fibre infrastructure
- Over 3,000 new devices and WiFi access points
- Upgrades to 200+ IT equipment rooms
- A sustainable, energy-efficient IT operating model
Beyond the technical upgrades, the project improved security, productivity, and satisfaction while reducing CO2 emissions and enhancing business continuity.
Our expertise in programme management, coordination, and collaboration has enabled the university to exceed expectations, setting a foundation for future digital innovation.
This transformative initiative was recognised as SDC Digital Transformation Project of the Year 2024, underscoring the university’s leadership in digital innovation.
